     Welcome to this banned books site. I have created this site as an informative guide to the censoring and banning of books. It is so common for books to be challenged but not very many people know why.  There are many reasons why books are banned. Such reasons include:

 

- Sexual content

-Homosexuality

-Racial issues

-Religious undertones

-The use of magic

-Youth defying authority

-The use of imagination

-Talking animals
